Dehradun, Oct 14 (PTI) Still reeling under the impact of devastating landslides and floods, the Uttarakhand government has banned strikes for next six months in departments providing essential services.
The government departments, state government undertakings and corporations have been banned from holding strikes for the next six months, officials said today.
The step has been taken in view of natural disasters that struck different parts of the state last month.
